1200 minutes and 900 texts..
well, the thing about telemarketers is u can't really believe them. after all, they're trying to do their jobs and earn some commission. today, i received a call from some uk phone limited company. well, what is uk phone limited? i've never heard of this mobile phone company. anyway, i decided not to hang up on the guy and let him speak.
"sir, do u have a monthly contract?"
"yes. i do."
"what is the plan? how much does it cost?"
"i pay 25 pounds a month, for 500 anytime minutes and 400 texts."
(actually, i pay about 25 pounds for 200 minutes and 200 texts. i just wanted to get rid of him by stating the impossible contract)
"well, we have a very good deal for you. a free nokia video phone with 1200 anytime minutes and 900 texts plus a 5 pound video calls credit for a price of 22.50 pounds a month!"
siao. no one offers such good deals. in fact, there aren't any deals that are half as good as the fake one i quoted to subtlely reject him.
anyway, i said i'm only 6 months into my 18 months contract and can't quit my current deal for his. he continued by asking if there are any other members in my household who wanted a line. before i could say no, he hung up.
yeah right. 1200 minutes and 900 texts. you think we're in singapore ah.
