how to spot a singaporean in imperial?

first, look out for useful waterproof jackets (comes in assorted colours like bright red, yellow or dull grey, blue).

second, check out the brand of the bags he/she carries. deuter, crumpler, eastpak, converse (or timberland, which i carry).

third, hairstyle speaks a lot. japs, hk-ers, modern prcs wear either brightly dyed/highlighted hair, permed, curvy, scary or elaborately gelled hair. s'poreans go for simplicity. tied, long straight rebonded. or standard nicely gelled hair.

fourth, make up. minimal make up on a s'porean imp. usually. loads of make up on other orientals.
