15 years series

yesterday or two days ago (memory's failing me), our analogue lecturer dr papavasilousolatidore (dr papa) told us to forget about doing past year papers for analogue. his reason was that the past year papers were set by different lecturers, and our paper will be solely set by him and will be totally different from theirs. nevertheless, he had to take a dig at students. first, he mentioned that he knew of societies who possess such past year papers. the greek society have 5 years worth of past year papers. alright, that sounds normal. and then he added that the singaporean society has 15 years worth of papers.

fifteen years??? that means we're supposed to have papers dated back to 1990. in 1990, i just got enrolled to catholic high school. back then, we learnt some simple english words, like car, bus, bicycle. we learnt how to add two apples with five apples. but ya, fifteen years on, so according to dr. papa, i'm to know what a Deliyannis is now. anyway, back to the apparant singaporean archive of past year papers, i'm appalled. haha, nah, it's a known fact that singaporeans are supposed to be kiasu, but for lecturers to know of our behaviour, i'm surprised. i don't have that 15 years of papers. i do know amongst us, we have a rare 1993 paper. amazing huh. the power of the singaporeans. thing is, i wish i was more kiasu. i haven't started on any of such papers. i'm just about to start on my fifth module of the course. so i have 5 more to study. very slow, by singaporean standards. very slow, by any standard. i wanna be more singaporean!
