start of revision..?
now that suzi's gone, it's the perfect time to start my revision. or maybe not. since she's left, the whole flat is to myself, which means i can watch all the tv i want, play all the games i have and be merry! nah.. thing is we have like less than 2 months to the exams. so i have to really buck up and study hard. this year is gonna be so bad. will have to be more hardworking than i've ever been to get a decent result. at least, my spanish exam went quite alright. the paper was fairly easy, but i made a few mistakes here and there. the oral was actually pleasureable. haha. oral exam i mean. not the kind of thing that most of my guy mates are thinking. so humanities are done. i'm left with the core of my course. which frankly i have no idea what's going on. but nevermind, i should pull through. somehow..
so.. i had a week of fun. been lazying about and then went to amsterdam last wednesday. amsterdam's cool, but very tempting place. the nightlife is quite good. considering what they sell in the nights. both sex and drugs. two of the worst tangible temptation a man can face. so anyway, the place is not as sleazy as i had made it to be. it's actually a quite beautiful city, with canals and all. nice place to walk. the city's fairly compact. so, i've been to london, paris, barcelona and amsterdam.. and i would say the cities are ranked as follows: barcelona, amsterdam, london, paris. yeh, based on what i've experienced in these cities, barcelona seems the most attractive place to live in. really cool, hip city.. and still very cultured and filled with loads of history.
so, i'm back here. suzi's in philippines. many of you are in singapore or left stranded in london. yeah, was thinking. you never really treasure someone as much, until they're gone. though i fancy the idea of living alone, i realise the place can feel empty when your loved ones are not around. felt that first when i went to ns. missed my family during the first three weeks of confinement. then when i came to london, missed the company of my friends initially. so of course, i will miss you. even though you can be naggy and annoying. but miss hearing you having a go at me. ok, enough been said. i should really go work and revise. or should i go play ps2 and watch naruto????? hmm...
